Creative Business Consultation Services

Follow this step-by-step guide to get the most out of your appointments:

  1. Schedule a 60-minute Grounding Consultation to set intentions and begin identifying action items to help you achieve your goal. This costs $65 and includes detailed meeting notes and supportive resources from Rick after the appointment.

  2. Schedule a 45-minute Development Session after your Grounding Consultation to continue working on your goals. You’ll discuss the progress you’ve made, the roadblocks you’ve encountered, and tactics to move beyond those challenges. You can also set new goals to continue advancing other aspects of your project! A Development Session costs $50 and includes detailed meeting notes and supportive resources from Rick after the appointment. You might also consider booking a Consultation Bundle at your Grounding Consultation. This package includes three 45-minute development sessions in addition to the initial appointment—a $215 value for only $175! If you book this during your Grounding Consultation (prepaid $65), you will only owe $90 to book three more sessions.

  3. If you have booked at least three hours worth of services with Rick in the past, you are eligible to book a 30-minute Check-in Consultation. This is a space to float new ideas that you’d like to integrate into your developed project. Want to consider a new service, adjust your price menu, or make other changes? Have a Check-in! This costs $35 and includes a FREE follow-up 10-minute phone call with Rick to discuss your progress. You will not receive notes or resources for Check-in Consultations.

Event Planning & Special Project Support Services

If you need support for a particular, short-term project or event, reach out to Rick to book the following services:

  1. Start with a 40-minute Initial Planning Meeting. This meeting is a space to describe your project/event and assess what support needs you have. This call costs $40 and includes detailed notes from the call, if you choose to continue working with Rick on the project.

  2. After the Initial Planning Meeting, Rick will develop an event/project checklist with proposed due dates and will compile initial budget projections. The cost for Rick’s Hourly Development Work on your event/project is $30/hour which will be billed at the time of each follow-up call. Rick tends to work very efficiently, so you can expect them to spend 2-4 hours between calls, depending on the demands of your project. Please note that email communication and quick phone calls about event logistics count towards these billable hours.

  3. 30-minute Check-in Meetings are a space for Rick to provide important updates around venue, catering, and supplier options, budget confirmations, and more. These calls cost $35 and include detailed notes after the meeting. (When paired with the Hourly Development Work billable hours, you can expect to pay $95-155 before the Check-in.)

Educational Workshops & Speaking Engagements

You can book Rick to speak at event or provide educational workshops. Rick has expertise in the performing arts (classical music, opera, theater, clowning, slapstick, etc.), nonprofit operations, queer research methodologies, DEI work, and more! Email Rick to set up a FREE 15-minute phone consultation to discuss your needs!

Educational Workshops/Research Presentation packages begin at $150 for a 90-minute virtual session. This includes material development done before the presentation and some follow-up communication.

  • Sessions exceeding 90-minutes cost $75 per additional hour. So, a 100-150-minute session costs $225, a 160-210-minute session costs $300, etc.

  • In-person sessions incur mileage/airfare/lodging add-ons to be discussed during a consultation call.

Speaking Engagements begin at $100 for a 20-30 minute engagement. Examples include keynote addresses, podcast guest spots, media interviews, etc.

  • Sessions exceeding 30-minutes cost an additional $50/30-minutes. For example, a 35-60 minute speaking engagement costs $150, a 65-90 minute engagement costs $200, etc.

  • In-person sessions incur mileage/airfare/lodging add-ons to be discussed during a consultation call.
